Arrive in Bangkok, where our representative welcomes you at the airport. Check in to the hotel in Bangkok
Morning sightseeing highlight is a visit to the lavishly decorated Royal Grand Palace, official home of the Thai royal family. Wat Phra Kaeo, in contrast, awes guests with the sight and aura of the priceless Emerald Buddha. Afternoon city Temple Tours with the explore of Wat Pho (reclining Buhhda) and Wat Traimit (Golden Buhhda Temple). Enjoy a classical Thai dance performance with your sumptuous dinner this evening (optional)
After a morning flight, we arrive in Hanoi and check in to the Hotel in Hanoi. Our full day of sightseeing includes a visit to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum ,Ho Chi Minh’s House, built on stilts in a traditional Vietnamese style. Continue on to visit One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius; and the former "Hanoi Hilton" prison, so named by American POWs during the war. After lunch, explore the fascinating maze of back streets on a pedicab ride through the Old Quarter. Evening enjoy an entertaining performance at the Water Puppet Theater, an art form that originated in northern Vietnam over 1000 years ago.
Day 4:HANOI – HAI PHONG - HALONG BAY |
Departing Hanoi to Halong Bay, known as the "Bay of the Descending Dragon." On the way stop in Hai Phong, a historical habour city of the north. Visit the habour place, Du Hang and Hang Kenh Pagoda. Continue to Halong. Check in to the Hotel in Halong.
Day 5: HALONG BAY to HANOI |
In a traditional wooden junk, cruise on magnificent Halong Bay, a UNESCO world heritage site. With the bay’s 3,000 islets as a backdrop, enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh seafood on board. This afternoon, explore the fantastic caves of Hang Dau Go, Bo Nau and Thien Cung. Return to Hanoi by motorcoach later today and check in to the Hotel.
Transfer to airport for early flight to HUE. On arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Tour of Hue, the Imperial City of Vietnam from 18th century, known as World Heritage Site. Visit the Royal Citadel, Forbidden City, Tuc Duc Royal Tombs. Afternoon boat ride along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, conical hat making village and bronze casting handicaft village. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN |
Morning drive to Danang via beautiful Hai Van Pass, stop at Lang Co Beach for sightseeing. Transfer to Hoi An. On the way visit the Cham Museum, which houses the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Later, an excursion features the Marble Mountains, consisting of five hillocks, each made entirely of marble; China Beach;Check in hotel in Hoi An.
Morning city tour of Hoian town, former trading port of Hoi An, south of Danang. A walking tour of Hoi An includes such sights as Quan Cong temple, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Trading Ceramics Museum, and centuries-old house. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9:HOIAN – DANANG - HO CHI MINH CITY |
Take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon and Vietnam’s largest city. Check in hotel. Tour includes Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, the War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh Market. To the west of the city is the Chinese sector called Cholon, which means "Big Market." Visit Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda. This evening, enjoy dinner at Carmargue Restaurant, a French restaurant housed in a stunning restored villa.
Day10: HO CHI MINH CITY (Cu Chi excursion) |
Today we will visit Cu Chi which was an important base during the war because of its strategic location. The incredible Cu Chi Tunnels, a hidden, 200km long network of tunnels used for storage, shelter, command posts, and hospitals were completely dug by hand tools over a 25 year period, to defend against both French and American t roops. Continue on to the town of Tay Ninh, headquarters of one of Vietnam’s most interesting religions, Caodism, an eclectic fusion of Eastern and Western religious philosophies. Visit the Caodai Great Temple, a rococo extravagance built between 1933 and 1955. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Afternoon free at leisure for shopping.
Day11: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA |
Excursion to Mekong Delta: morning drive to My Tho, the upper town of the Mekong Delta. Boat cruises to orchid garden, visit the farmer’s house, enjoy southern traditional music show, learn how the local produce “coconut candy”, experienced the small boat along the narrow canals.
Day12: HO CHI MINH - SIEM REAP (Angkor) |
This morning, fly to Siem Reap, gateway to Cambodia’s most famous landmark, Angkor Wat. Check in hotel. Siem Reap was Capital of the Khmers from 802 to 1441 AD, Angkor’s religious citadel is one of the largest temple complexes in the world, containing exquisite examples of Khmer and Hindu art. Same morning tour of Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Srah Strang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda. Afternoon Visit the World Wonder of Angkor Wat until sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap
Today’s sightseeing continues your exploration of Angkor’s magnificent Hindu temples such as South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Tarrace of the Elephants and Leper King. Afternoon visit the Grand Circuite including Pre Rup, a pyramid-shaped 10th century temple, East Mebon, Tasom, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Baksei Chamkrong and South Gate of Angkor Thom. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day14:ANGKOR (Siem Reap) to BANGKOK - DEPARTURE |
Transfer to the airport at Siem Reap this morning for your flight to Bangkok to connect you’re your flight back home.
