Progam: Yangon - Mandalay - Bagan – Salay - Popa - Pindaya - Inle Lake – Yangon
 Day 1: ARRIVAL YANGON

 Welcome to the Garden City Yangon. Arrive by either morning or afternoon flight to Yangon International Airport.
 Then, transfer to hotel. Here we would like to reserve enough time for you to take a good rest that you may need  after a long tedious flight. Therefore, sightseeing in Yangon is transferred to the day before departure that you will  enjoy for the whole day.
 
 Day 2: YANGON – BAGAN by Am flight

After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. On arrival you’ll be taken to Shwezigon Pagoda a prototype of later Myanmar stupa. Then to Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural pain-tings of Jataka scenes. After that , transfer to Hotel for check-in.

Afternoon sightseeing tour continues with visits to lacquerware industry where you can study traditional Myanmar lacquerware making, Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha images, a captive king’s impression of life in prison; Nanpaya, an Early-style temple with the finest stone carvings. Although it has spots lights installed, it would be safer to bring your own touch as electricity supply can be shut-off from time to time.

In the evening you will be visiting the Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Hotel. ( B,L,D )

(In Bagan there are more than 2000 temples & stupas. Indeed it is difficult to cover all temples within limited time. Therefore we have carefully selected only some major temples for you in order to avoid hectic tourism. But if you want to see more temples, just let your guide or driver knows. They can show you as much temples as possible within your stay.)

 Day 3: BAGAN - SALAY - POPA - BAGAN by car/coach

 After breakfast, drive to Salay. Sightseeing in Salay includes visits to Yoke-son Monastery decorated with wood-  carvings depicting scenes for moral lessons. Tour continues to Laquerware Buddha Image and the ancient  monastery. Lunch at local restaurant.
 Proceed to Mount Popa ( by coach ), an extinct volcano, which is the abode of Nats ( Spirits ). On top of the  mountain, there are monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different style.
 Dinner and overnight at Mt.Popa Resort. ( B,L,D )
 
 Day 4: MT.POPA - MANDALAY by car 4 hrs drive

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mandalay. Lunch at local restaurant on the way. Arrive Mandalay and transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure in the evening. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Hotel. ( B,L,D )
 
 Day 5: MANDALAY

 After breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the famous Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacred Buddha Image in  Mandalay. Then a short visit to marble, bronze and Gold foil making cottage industries. Lunch at outside local  restaurant.
 After lunch you will be enjoying Mandalay afternoon sightseeing that begins with Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw  Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World’s Biggest Book for its  stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Tour continues to Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for a panoramic view of the city and a spectacular sunset view.
It is worthy to have a stroll up the hill enjoying panoramic views from different location. Return can be made by car as there is also a car track by the base of elevator just before the platform.

 Day 6:MANDALAY - MINGUN - INWA - SAGAING – MANDALAY

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to jetty for 45 minutes boat trip to Mingun. Sightseeing around Mingun includes: Mingun pagoda known as the biggest brick pile, biggest ringing Mingun bell and Myatheintan Pagoda.

Then visit to Inwa ( Ava ), a historical capital founded by King Thado Minbya in 1364. Extended visit will be made to Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery which is a fine example of Myanmar masonry art and architecture, Mainu Brick Monastery and old watch tower.
Lunch & dinner at outside local restaurants. Overnight at Hotel. (B, L, D)

 Day 7: MANDALAY - HEHO - NYAUNG SHWE ( INLE LAKE ) by flight

 After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Heho. On arrive, transfer by car to Nyaung Shwe ( 45 minutes ) check in  at hotel.

 Excursion to Inle Lake ( by jetty boat ), famous for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty. Tour highlights:  Paungdaw Oo Pagoda; wonderful floating gardens; native methods of fishing; Nga Pe Chaung Monastery,  and Stilt house villages life on the lake.
Lunch & dinner at outside local restaurants. Overnight at Hotel. (B,L,D)

 Day 8: INLE LAKE ( Sangha )

After breakfast leave Hotel by boat for excursion. Start proceeding to Sangha an Ancient Pagoda Forrest and Thakong by powered-boat via Nampan. Arriving Sangha and Thakong about 11:00 AM. High Lights of the trip would include exploring and paying visits to: Kauktaing visit a family making Robes(Phongyi cothes) produced from fabrics of thousands of lotus stems.
Then to the Local methods of producing high degree of Alcohol, (CS-country spirit) fermented and extracted from Bran Rice and Unspoiled culture and traditional life-styles of the ethnic groups of Pa-O and Inthas inhabite around Sangha and Hmawbi area.
Afternoon by cruising down from lake Inle, beautiful landscaping, flowering trees and settlements dotted on both sides of the canal could be oberved.
Late afternoon back to hotel and overnight at Hotel. ( B,L,D )
 
 Day 9:INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON by Am flight

 After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival visit Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, a colossal  reclining Buddha Image and Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument and Sule Pagoda, located at the  heart of the Yangon City. There are still many photo shops around the Sule Pagoda which exist since the British time  and you could have a black & white photo of yourself taken with an antique camera.
 Afternoon visit the Bogyoke market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but  of special mention is the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag” velvet slippers, lacquer ware and all sorts of handicraft.
Then evening visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitor a spectacular show of lights and shadows.

 Day10:DEPARTURE by Am flight

After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to airport for International departure. ( B )
