WATER PUPPET PERFORMANCES AT VIET NAM MUSEUM OF ETHNOLOGY
From July 11-16, at 10a.m, 11.30a.m, 2.30p.m and 4p.m everyday (except Monday), there are water puppet performances at the Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology by Dong Ngu folk water puppet club from Bac Ninh province. There is an extra show at 7p.m on Saturday.

NEW BUS ROUTE FROM QUI NHON (VIETNAM) TO PAKSE (LAOS)
The new bus route operated by VATACO (Binh Dinh) will make the first trip on July 04th, 2006. There will be 4 trips a week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from Vietnam to Laos and vice versa. The bus will go through a distance of 600km in about 12 hours. Start from Bus Station in Qui Nhon at 06:00, tourists will travel through Pleiku, Kontum, border Po Y, Attapeu, Sekhong, Champasak. This is the effort to strengthen the economic and tourism tie between Vietnam & Laos.

MEKONG DELTA GEARS UP FOR TOURISM FESTIVAL
People from all 13 Mekong Delta provinces will meet at a festival in An Giang, which aims to promote regional co-operation on tourism and investment.
The Mekong Festival 2006 will start on Thursday and last until Sunday in the city of Long Xuyen and the nearby town of Chau Doc, both in An Giang Province.

PILGRIMS PAY HOMAGE TO LEGENDARY HUNG KINGS
Pilgrims from across the country flocked on the Temple of Hung Kings on Mount Nghia Linh yesterday, the tenth day of the third lunar month, to honour the legendary founders of Viet Nam.
The anniversary has been observed through centuries at the temple in Phu Tho Province, 120km north of Ha Noi.
